Why is it so hard to change a child’s behavior, even after learning so many parenting methods?
Procrastinating on homework, emotional outbursts, throwing things around, breaking rules, struggling to wake up early, getting addicted to screens…
As parents, we genuinely hope our children grow up to be responsible, polite, and self-disciplined. Many of us diligently study parenting techniques and earnestly carry out training steps—only to find that our children’s behavior remains unchanged, leaving us feeling drained and discouraged.
In this talk, we will explore together:
• Behavior is just the surface: What are our children’s true underlying needs?
• Pitfalls in training: Why do kids resist even when we’re using the “right” methods?
• Walking in both love and truth: How to shepherd the heart while also shaping behavior.
• A practical and actionable approach: The ABC Executive Function Training Model, which brings clarity, strength, and warmth to change.
